Congratulations to Emery Haley, who successfully defended their doctoral dissertation on May 13, 2022!
Thanks to the defense committee including Drs. Wei Lü, Andrew Pospisilik, and Huilin Li (as VAI faculty), Dr. Zhaozhu Qiu (Johns Hopkins School of Medicine), and Dr. Vera Moiseenkova-Bell (from University of Pennsylvania).

Xinyu Ye will soon join the Van Andel Institute Graduate School, so we are fortunate to have Garrett O’Dea and Chase Benasco join our labs as assistant research technicians in May 2022. After a short stay, Chase decided to join Spectrum Health to gain some clinical experience, as he felt that an MD would be a better fit for him.
