Today is Ian’s last in our labs. He is now a senior research scientist at AnaBios in San Diego.

Today is Yihe’s last day in our labs, and tomorrow he will become an assistant professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He will stay in our labs for another month or two before relocating to Lincoln.

He will stay in our labs for another year before starting his own independent lab.

Sofia Ievleva joined our labs as a VAIGS student in June 2022. She is the third PhD student in our labs. Welcome, Sofia!

Welcome back, Nisha Rajakrishna! She will be doing her second internship in our labs this summer before applying to medical school.

Congratulations to Emery Haley, who successfully defended their doctoral dissertation on May 13, 2022!

Emery’s last day in our labs was July 1, 2022. We wish them all the best!

Xinyu Ye will soon join the Van Andel Institute Graduate School, so we are fortunate to have Garrett O’Dea and Chase Benasco join our labs as assistant research technicians in May 2022. After a short stay, Chase decided to join Spectrum Health to gain some clinical experience, as he felt that an MD would be a better fit for him.
