We are thrilled to welcome new lab members!

• Jinhong Hu from the University of British Columbia joined our labs as a postdoctoral fellow in May 2022.
• Tao Wan from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln joined our lab as a research scientist in June 2022.

Will the coronavirus pandemic ever end? Who knows, but some members left the labs during the pandemic and we wish them a bright future!

• Simon Vu went to Emerald Cloud Lab (October 2021).
• Tyler Walter joined Zoetis (October 2021).
• Ashlyn Skidmore left the lab in May 2022.

Zheng, Emery and Ian’s TRPM5 story is published today in Nature Structural & Molecular Biology.

Nisha is an undergraduate student at the University of Arizona and is interning in our labs this summer.

We welcome Ashlyn Skidmore to join our lab as an Assistant Research Technician!

He will drive to San Francisco tomorrow to join Yifan Cheng’s lab as a postdoctoral fellow. Looking forward to more scientific achievements from you, Dr. Wooyoung!

Zheng will give a talk on the PANX1 work.

Wooyoung received a virtual travel award and will present a poster on the CALHM2 work.

Wei is elected the Secretary of the 2022 Membrane Transport Subgroup, and will serve as the Co-chair and Chair in 2023 and 2024, respectively.

Sushant joins our labs as a postdoctoral fellow.
